you'll need a bigger shop for one or two things · needs aromatic bitters

HOW TO MAKE IT

1 drink

  1. 1Put one big ice cube in a rocks glass.
  2. 2Pour in 45 ml bourbon and 10 ml sugar syrup.
  3. 3Add 3 dashes of aromatic bitters (Angostura is the classic).
  4. 4Stir for about 20 seconds, until nice and cold.
  5. 5Garnish with a strip of orange peel (express the oils, drop it in).

YOU'LL NEED

  • 45 mlbourbon
  • 10 mlsugar syrup
  • 1 big ice cube
  • 3 dashesaromatic bitters
  • 1strip of orange peel

tip: No big cube? Freeze water in a small tub or a muffin tin.

tip: Prefer a sugar cube? Soak it with the bitters and a splash of water in the empty glass, crush it, then add ice and whiskey.
