Knead a Drink? is a hobby recipe site. There are no accounts and no ads, and nothing is sold.

Counting visits

We use PostHog (hosted in the EU) to count page views and clicks, like which recipes get opened and which switches get flipped. It never sees a party's name, link or guests, and it doesn't keep IP addresses. Until you say yes to cookies, it keeps nothing on your device.

If you say yes, PostHog remembers your browser between visits and Google Analytics 4 is switched on. Google Analytics sets its own cookies (such as _ga); see how Google uses this data. Google Analytics records the address of each page you open; for a party page that includes its private link.

Pizza night invites

The name, avatar and picks you enter at a party are stored so everyone at that table can see them. Anyone with the party link can see the table. Everything is deleted automatically 60 days after the party was last changed (link previews that were already shared in chat apps can stay in those apps). Your seat is remembered in your browser. To stop abuse, the internet (IP) address of whoever creates or joins a party is kept for up to an hour.

Your settings

Units, oven, boozy or zero-proof and pun mode are saved in your own browser. When you flip one, we count the flip like any other click.
